To enhance security, Pluto offers a protective feature enabling users to connect their two-factor authentication (2FA), demanding two forms of identification to access the platform. Follow these steps to activate 2FA for your account:

  1. Once logged in, locate your profile icon, usually found in the left bottom corner of the app. Click on your profile icon to proceed.

  2. After clicking your profile icon, a floating pop-up menu will appear. In this menu, select the option labeled "Manage Your Account". This will take you to the account settings page.

  3. On the account settings page, you will find the section titled "Security". Within the "Security" section, you can see a subsection named "Two-Factor Authentication" (2FA).

  4. Click on the "+ Add two-step verification" option. On the 2FA setup screen, you will see a QR code. Open your preferred authenticator app on your mobile device. This could be Google Authenticator, Authy, or any other 2FA app. In the app, select the option to add a new account or set up a new sign-in method, then use the app to scan the displayed QR code.

  5. After scanning the QR code with your authenticator app, the app will generate a verification code. Enter this code into the field on the 2FA setup screen to complete the process.

  6. Once successfully connected, you will now see the following screen confirming that your 2FA has been successfully set up for login.
