What are Virtual IBANs?

A Virtual IBAN is a unique bank account number linked to your Pluto account. When you transfer funds to this Virtual IBAN, the money is automatically routed and credited to your Pluto balance. Unlike shared or pooled accounts, your Virtual IBAN is dedicated to your business, making reconciliation faster, cleaner, and more secure.

You can top up your Pluto balance faster using a dedicated Virtual IBAN. Transfers sent to your Virtual IBAN are processed automatically, even on weekends and public holidays, so you don’t have to wait for manual approvals or business hours.


How to Get Started

Step 1: Request your Virtual IBAN

Reach out to your Pluto account manager to obtain your dedicated Virtual IBAN.

Important Notice for UAE Customers

If you bank with Mashreq, Virtual IBANs are not supported at this time. We are unable to accept incoming transfers from Mashreq accounts. However, support is coming soon and we’ll notify you as soon as it’s available.

Step 2: Update beneficiary details in your bank

Log in to your company’s banking platform and update the beneficiary account number to your new Virtual IBAN.

Step 3: Transfer funds to the Virtual IBAN

Make a bank transfer using the updated beneficiary details.

Step 4: Check your Pluto balance

Once the transfer is processed by your bank, the funds will appear automatically in your Pluto balance.

Note: Actual processing time depends on your bank. For weekend or holiday top-ups, your bank must support transfers outside standard business hours.
